Slyamzhar Berikbekovich Akhmetzharov

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Suleyman Demirel University, as well as Master's and PhD degrees from Nazarbayev University.

In October 2025, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the «Eren Enbegi Ushin» (For Distinguished Labor) medal for his professional achievements.

 He possesses extensive experience in the public, research, and quasi-public sectors.He began his career in the private sector, rising from a specialist to the Head of Department at «Nur-Otan» Property Management LLP. He dedicated more than 5 years to scientific and analytical research at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including in leadership positions.

In the civil service, he served as an Advisor to the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Expert at the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a Consultant at the Internal Policy Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

By the decision of the Board of Directors dated May 29, 2026, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Member of the Management Board of «Almaty City Development Center» JSC.
